    Strichen is a village in Aberdeenshire, Scotland not far from Fraserburgh. It is at the foothills of Mormond Hill. Strichen Stone Circle to be found near to Strichen House in publicly accessible land. Strichen House is a ruin designed in 1821 by Thomas Fraser, 12th Lord Lovat which fell into ruin in 1954
