N55:46:01(55.766948), W5:20:47(-5.346358) Skipness is a small hamlet on the east coast of Kintyre in Scotland, a few miles south of Tarbert and facing the Isle of Arran. There is a ruined castle and Kilbrannan Chapel, which contains some rare grave slabs. Both the castle and the chapel date from the 13th century, and are maintained by Historic Scotland.
